the Psalms artist Workshop
August 18 - 22, 9 am - 1 pm / Friday Showcase 7 pm
Join us in creating ART from the most beautiful poetry found in Scripture! At The Psalms Artist Workshop, creatives will explore the language, context, emotion, and original meaning of four selected Psalms with Katie Frost, a Hebrew scholar from Scriptura. Then, you will have the opportunity to create your own personal "translation" of those Psalms through whatever artistic medium you desire, and present it at an artist showcase Friday, August 22 at 7 pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Workshop will be August 18-22, Monday-Friday, 9 am - 1 pm
at Acts 17:28 Dance Studio in Elmbrook Church
We will be going DEEP into 4 Psalms, Monday thru Thursday, with Friday focused on finalizing our performance pieces for a public showcase Friday night.
Cost: $180 per person

Friday night at 7 pm will be a public showcase in the Fellowship Hall for friends and family to experience our "artful translations" of the Psalms.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook/pen, snack lunch, water bottle, and whatever art materials needed if a visual artist.
